What will we do for peace today?(EDL 2024)

This inspiring peace poster was designed during a Swiss training course called “Peace in Practice”. The course gathered 30 participants from 17 countries who were volunteers, activists of NGOs working for peace and youth workers. The training course shed some light on the three levels of peace : “inner peace”, “peace with others” and “peace with nature”.

Hispanic Heritage Month 2024

Every year from September 15 to October 15, Americans celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by appreciating the community’s history, heritage, and contributions of the ancestors of American citizens who came from Mexico, Spain, the Caribbean, and South- and Central America. It is a time to appreciate and celebrate the colorful cultures, rich histories, and diversity of the American Latino community.

One month, one painting : Sports in Barbados

Sheena Rose (b. 1985) is a visual artist from Barbados whose practice includes painting, drawing, performance art, … Rose’s works, painted with her signature bright colors and featuring retro graphic patterns, deal with issues related to politics, stereotypes, gender, and identity in historical and contemporary contexts, whether she’s painting celebrated athletes or a landscape featuring a vibrant sunset in Barbados.
