Option LCE anglais 5e/4e : in October and November, #ThinkB4UClick!

October is the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM), a month dedicated in sharing knowledge and raising awareness on navigating the digital world safely.

In October and November, Our ELC students (option LCE anglais) will be working on the themes of bullying and cyberbullying, testing their knowledge and brainstorming ways to better inform their peers.

The 2024 edition, themed #ThinkB4UClick, focuses on protecting against social engineering, a growing trend where scammers use impersonation, phishing emails or fake offers to trick people into performing certain online actions or giving away sensitive or personal information. The campaign aims to promote cybersecurity among citizens and organisations and provides information about online security through awareness-raising activities and sharing of good practices. 

The initiative is coordinated by the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and supported by the European Commission and the EU Member States. Every year, an annual campaign  promotes cybersecurity awareness and best online practices.
