English Breakfast

Ingredients (per person):

2 sausages
2-3 rashers of bacon
1-2 eggs
1-2 slices of bread
1/4 can of baked beans (around 100 grams)
Butter

Method:

1. Cook the sausages.
Put a frying pan on a medium or medium-low heat.
Put a small amount of butter in the pan and then put the sausages in.
Turn them over regularly. Cook them until they have golden or light brown lines on the outside and they are cooked in the middle.
(This part should take around 15-20 minutes.)
2. Warm the beans.
While the sausages are cooking, open the can of beans and warm them in a small pot over a low heat, stirring occasionally.
3. Cook the bacon.
Push the sausages to one side of the pan and add the bacon.
Flip the bacon once it is a bit brown on the outside.
Cook to your liking – I like my bacon a bit crispy!
4. Toast the bread.
Put the bread in a toaster and toast until golden.
Spread some butter on the toast.
5. Cook the eggs.
Use a new pan if there isn’t enough space in your first pan.
Put the pan over a medium or medium-low heat and add another small amount of butter.
Crack the eggs in to the pan and fry them until the white of the eggs is solid.
Cook to your liking – I like my eggs to have a runny yolk!
6. Place your food on your plate and enjoy!
